[Histemple] Community Events to Celebrate Diwali

Dear Community Members,
Namaste and Happy Navrathri to all of you!  As you are celebrating the 9 days of Navarathri followed by Vijayadashami, we are planning our next major festival, Deepavali or Diwali, popularly known as "Festival of Lights".  
This year, Diwali falls on Sunday, November 3rd.  The occasion will be marked by a puja for Goddess Lakshmi at the Temple on Saturday, November 2nd.  Bring the whole family to enjoy the fireworks following the puja. Click on the link to the flyer.
In Rochester and all across the United States, Deepavali is an occasion for get-together, dance and talent shows.  As always, we will be celebrating Diwali in many ways in Rochester.  
Coming up soon is a pre-Diwali party in Rochester on Saturday, October 26th, at the Kahler Grand Hotel. Click on the link to the flyer.
The next event is Deepavali 2013, Rochester's premier Indian talent show that has traditionally been hosted by the Temple.  This year, the event is going to be held on Saturday, November 23rd, at Century High School.  Click on the link to the flyer.
